Volume I relates to the medical electronics instruments and Volume II to agri-electronics instruments areas which have been identified by integrated Development Programme (IDP) as high priorities.
The study has come out with recommendations for different types of instruments in other sector which should be taken up for indigenous development based on economic viability and available infrastructure.
The strategies have been suggested for implementing R&D projects.
