TIFAC proposes to engage short-term temporary manpower for a DST funded project on Preparation of DPR for Inter-disciplinary Cyber- Physical Systems (ICPS)

Nature of Job: To assist in preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical System (ICPS), conceived by DST. The DPR has to comprehensively cover all stages of life-cycle of CPS technology, from conception of idea to implementation to commercialization and its applications into all socio-economic and strategic sectors. The project is highly technical in nature, time bound and may require working beyond working hours/ days
Technical knowledge, good writing skills and document editing is required for the job. The requirements of the positions are immediate.  

Post name        : Project Associate (2 positions)
Remuneration  : Rs.35, 000/- per month (consolidated all inclusive)
Tenure                : For Six months
Nature of engagement: Purely on contractual basis
Age                      : Not more than 35 years as on 1st December 2017

Essential Qualification:  B. Tech. / B.E./M.Sc.  in Computer Science/ IT/ICT/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication
Essential Experience : Good data/information collection, processing,  documentation, writing, word processing and  editing
Desirable: Masters Degree in Engineering/ Technology preferably with 2-3 years experience; Understanding of Cyber-Physical Systems; Preparation of technical notes/ documents

Post name        : Secretarial Assistant (1)
Remuneration  : Rs.25, 000/- per month (consolidated all inclusive)
Tenure              : For Six months
Nature of engagement: Purely on contractual basis
Age                    : Not more than 65 years as on 1st December 2017

Essential Qualification: (a) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (or equivalent degree)
Essential Experience: At least 10 years of experience of (a) secretarial work & use of word processing packages (b) noting and drafting (c) coordinating meetings. Preference will be given to experience of working with government departments/ ministries
Desirable: Familiarity with government rules, procedures etc.  

General terms and conditions:
  • Mere fulfilling the qualifications does not mean short listing of candidates for interview
  • Only candidates whose candidatures have been provisionally accepted will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in interview.
  • Selected candidates will be required to join immediately.
  • Candidates are required to furnish all original certificates in claim of Academic qualification/experiences/other degree courses, etc. as specified in application form at the time of interview. Non submission/ production of the same will lead to rejection of candidature.
  • No. of positions advertised can be changed or the entire process may be scrapped at any stage as per discretion of TIFAC. Further, TIFAC reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons at any stage.
  • The work may require travel within Delhi and other cities/locations, to collect data from different organizations/agencies/institutes, etc. in addition to office desk work. The candidates should be willing to undertake travel, in addition to office desk work.
  • Services of selected candidates will be automatically terminated after the contract period is over (unless extended) and they shall have no legal right to claim regular appointment in TIFAC
