The objective of SAKSHAM is to address the need of shramiks (blue collared workers) for their gainful employment along with their complete skill profiling and at the same time to support the MSMEs and other industries, to learn about the region/district wise availability of shramiks as per their skill requirement.

TIFAC has recently started TAP (TIFAC Academic Partner) Program under the ongoing MSME Program aiming at building a platform for facilitating interactions of MSMEs with academia/R&D and Technical Institution. The thrust is on providing technical support to the MSMEs by leveraging the knowledge base of nearby and competent academia R & D and Technical Institutes. Four (04) TAP centres have already been selected in Southern, Western, Eastern and Central part of the Country respectively.
TIFAC now wishes to have partnership with Academic Partner in the Northern Part of the Country. For establishing the TIFAC Academic Partner (TAP), proposals are invited from Academic Institutes/Organizations of academic eminence in the field of S&T and Innovations from the Northern Parts of the Country (Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh).
